…and I’m not going to write this in the 3rd person! I’m a marketer, non-profit social media manager, blogger, and tweeter. I’m also an illustrator, artist, and interactive designer. I’m blogging here to have a place to catalogue my thoughts and provide a critique of how social media and the participatory web are changing culture and society. I also talk about new media marketing and give tips for implementing social media strategies.
I grew up in the 80s and 90s making mixtapes, photocopying zines, writing paper emails by hand, and watching broadcast television at the time it aired, including commercials. I think it’s pretty neat that we have the internet nowadays.
